Newborn sleep needs

Newborns sleep differently from older babies, children and adults. That’s because their sleep patterns are still developing, and they need to wake often to feed.

There’s also a big range when it comes to newborn sleep needs. You might be surprised by how much or how little your newborn needs.

This means it’s good to spend the first few weeks and months getting to know how your newborn sleeps. And during this time, it might help to know there are many things you can do to help your newborn sleep and settle more easily.

It’s common for parents of newborns to have questions about their baby’s sleep. In this webinar we’ll cover common questions about newborn sleep, including:

  • what to expect from newborn sleep
  • why newborn sleep is different from adult, child and older baby sleep
  • how to work out your newborn’s sleep needs
  • what helps newborns sleep.

If you’re an expectant parent or you have a baby aged 0-3 months and you’re interested in helping them sleep and settle more easily, this webinar is for you.

In the webinar, you’ll be able to ask questions, share experiences, and hear other parents’ experiences and ideas.
