Webinar recording

This webinar was held on Tuesday, 21 June 2022

Good sleep in the toddler years

Toddlers need good sleep to grow and develop well. And when your child sleeps well, you also get the sleep you need.

But sometimes toddlers resist going to bed, or they need a lot of help to fall asleep at bedtime or after waking in the night. This can make it tricky for everyone to get the sleep they need.

Understanding what your toddler needs to fall asleep is often the first step towards a better night’s sleep for everyone. Then you can use the right sleep strategy for your toddler to give them what they need – like comfort – while helping them learn to settle with less help from you.

In this webinar we’ll cover:

  • what toddler sleep looks like
  • how medical issues cause sleep problems
  • how to work out what’s causing problems with sleep and settling
  • what strategies can help your toddler sleep and settle better
  • when to get help for toddler sleep.

If you have a toddler aged 1-3 years and you’re interested in helping them sleep and settle better, this webinar is for you.

In the webinar, you’ll be able to ask questions, share experiences, and hear other parents’ experiences and ideas.
