Helping babies sleep and settle

Baby sleep changes from around 4 months. You’ll probably notice your baby needs less sleep, sleeps longer at a stretch, or sleeps less during the day.

At this age, babies start to develop preferences for falling asleep. This means they like to fall asleep a certain way. Your baby might also start to form sleep associations. This means they link a certain routine or way of settling with getting ready to sleep.

Your baby will probably need your help getting to sleep or going back to sleep when they wake in the night, at least some of the time. When you understand your baby’s sleep needs, preferences and sleep associations, it can be easier to help your baby settle and get the sleep they need.

In this webinar we’ll cover:

  • how to work out how much sleep your baby needs
  • why your baby might be unsettled at sleep time
  • how sleep preferences and sleep associations can help your baby sleep and settle
  • when and where to get help for baby sleep.

If you have a baby aged 4-12 months and you’re interested in helping them sleep and settle better, this webinar is for you.

In the webinar, you’ll be able to ask questions, share experiences, and hear other parents’ experiences and ideas.
