Story
Pokemon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened tells the story of Ash, Pikachu and their friends, who must stop the Genesect army from destroying New Tork City.
The Genesects have been extinct for 300 million years, but humans have regenerated this mythical race from fossils and attached weapons attached to their bodies. The modern world is completely alien to the Genesects, and they see every other living creature as an enemy. Seeking out a new home, the Genesects build a nest that threatens New Tork City’s power supply.
As Ash and his friends try to stop the Genesects, legendary Pokemon Mewtwo comes to their aid. Most of the Genesects agree to coexist peacefully on earth, but Mewtwo must battle the Red Genesect. Mewtwo eventually convinces the Red Genesect that coexistence is possible and that the planet can be home to the Genesects too.
