New South Wales
Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council of NSW (AH&MRC)
This is the peak body and voice for Aboriginal community-controlled health organisations across New South Wales. It works with these organisations to provide high-quality health care services and improve health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Gunawirra
This NSW not-for-profit organisation offers community-led services that focus on the needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. These include group programs for mothers, early intervention programs for children, and a program that focuses on personal hygiene, basic health care and simple nutrition.
NSW Child, Family and Community Peak Aboriginal Corporation (AbSec)
This is the peak organisation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families in New South Wales. It provides training, support groups and information to Aboriginal children, families, communities, carers and people with disability. It also provides a free telephone advice and advocacy service for the carers of Aboriginal children.
NSW Health – Services for Aboriginal families
Aboriginal Maternal and Infant Health Services (AMIHS) provide culturally safe antenatal and postnatal services for pregnant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women. When babies are 8 weeks old, NSW Health Building Strong Foundations (BFS) services provide follow-up care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities.

This Aboriginal community-controlled organisation provides telephone and face-to-face legal and non-legal support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria who are experiencing or have experienced family violence. Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA)
This is the lead Aboriginal child and family welfare organisation in Victoria. It protects and promotes the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families by offering programs, services and support to strengthen the safety, wellbeing and cultural connectedness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, families and communities.
Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (VACCHO)

This organisation provides medical, dental, parenting, counselling, social and other services in Victoria. It also supports community wellbeing through involvement in community events, activities and research. VAHS also offer ‘Yarning SafeNStrong’, a free and confidential 24/7 counselling service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Victorian Government Department of Health – Aboriginal Maternal and Child Health (MCH) – Aboriginal-led MCH services
This program lets Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in Victoria choose maternal and child health services at their local Aboriginal community-controlled health organisation.

These services are called Koori Health Services. They offer free, flexible, inclusive, culturally safe pregnancy, birth and postnatal care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in Victoria.
