This national organisation provides resources, services, programs and events for LGBTQ+ children and families.

Student Wellbeing Hub
This website promotes inclusive learning environments for young people. It also has information for educators, parents and students on issues like bullying and other challenges for young people.

This community-led organisation provides community support, education, peer support services, and resources for trans, gender-diverse and non-binary young people and their parents or carers.

Australian Capital Territory

A Gender Agenda
This community organisation is actively engaged in increasing public awareness and understanding of sex and gender diversity issues. It provides training and education, advocacy and support services, information and resources. Phone (02) 6162 1924.

Diversity ACT
This community organisation is run by volunteers and organises activities, events and programs for the local LGBTIQ+ community.

Meridian
This organisation is a community-controlled, peer-led organisation that provides health and social support services to the LGBTIQ+ community.

New South Wales

ACON
ACON provides access to community health, sexual health and inclusive health services for the LGBTIQ+ community in NSW.

The Gender Centre
The Gender Centre provides services to transgender, gender-questioning and gender-diverse people and their partners, family members and friends. Phone (02) 9519 7599, Monday-Friday, 9 am-4.30 pm.

TransHub
This website provides information about gender affirmation and health for trans and gender-diverse people in New South Wales, as well as their families, allies and health providers.

Twenty10
This organisation supports LGBTIQ+ people in New South Wales. It provides web-based support as well as housing and case management support, counselling and social support programs. Phone (02) 8594 9555, Tuesday-Friday, 1 pm-3 pm.

Northern Territory

Northern Territory AIDS and Hepatitis Council – LGBTI Living Well program
This program supports LGBTI people in the Northern Territory.

Queensland

QTrans – Queensland Transgender, Gender Diverse and Non-Binary Association Inc
This organisation helps, advises and advocates for LGBTIQ+ people in Queensland.

Diverse Voices
This non-profit support organisation provides resources and information about local events for LGBTIQ+ people. It also works with QLife to provide a peer-to-peer telephone and internet counselling service. Phone 1800 184 527, 7 days, 3 pm-9pm.

Open Doors Youth Service
This organisation provides individual and family support, social groups and other services for LGBTIQ+ young people.

Queensland Council for LGBTI Health
This organisation provides health and support services to the LGBTIQ+ community in Queensland and works with diverse communities to ensure inclusion.

South Australia

Pink Parents Adelaide
This is the largest community of LGBTIQA+ families in South Australia. They run Rainbow Connection Playgroups for LGBTIQA+ families as well as other family events. Find out about events by following @pinkparentsadelaide on Instagram or Facebook.

SAARA – SA Rainbow Advocacy Alliance
This organisation champions the health, safety, inclusion, equity and equality of LGBTIQ+ people in South Australia.

Uniting Communities – Bfriend (Facebook page)
This is a phone, email and face-to-face support service for sexuality-diverse and gender-diverse people in South Australia and their family and friends. Phone 1800 615 677.

Tasmania

Rainbow Communities Tasmania
This volunteer organisation supports rainbow families and is dedicated to achieving and maintaining inclusion and equity for LGBTIQ+ people in Tasmania.

Working It Out
This organisation provides support, counselling, advocacy and peer support for LGBTIQ+ people in Tasmania.

Victoria

Queerspace
This organisation is an LGBTIQ+ health and wellbeing support service providing counselling, youth services and parenting support.

Switchboard
This organisation provides support for LGBTIQ+ people and their families and friends in Victoria. It operates the Rainbow Door helpline, which provides an information and referral service for LGBTIQ+ people in Victoria:

Transgender Victoria
This organisation educates other organisations and workplaces on how to provide better services for trans and gender-diverse people.

Freedom
This organisation provides information and online or face-to-face counselling to LGBTIQ+ people aged 12-25. It also offers resources, workshops and training for parents, professionals and other groups.
