ABC New Media & Digital Services is proud to work with the Raising Children Network to bring quality parenting information to Australian families and to raise awareness of issues affecting parents and children.

Content provided by the Raising Children Network, incorporated in to abc.net.au/parents, is the perfect complement to the ABC site’s gateways that cover topics relevant to parents and children such as health, education, science and news.

The internet’s role as a community-building tool is one that ABC is responding to across our entire site.  Guest books and message boards, together with the inclusion of content created by our audience, enable visitors to speak to one another and to interact with our content.

As Australians continue to explore new ways of accessing parenting information via traditional platforms such as television and radio and new media such as the internet, podcasts and mobile devices, ABC New Media & Digital Services is ensuring that they have access to quality content whenever and however they choose.
