Hello
The forums seem to be over run with spammers at the moment. Is there any way you can manage this or is it best for us to just advise you of user names?
Two for example are prajan and sallychen
Is there any need for users to be able to add hyperlinks? Because if this option was eliminated, it would stop the spammers as they would have no reason to come to this forum. If genuine users wanted to send someone a hyperlink they could send a private message. Just a thought on how you might be able to control this.
Thanks for listening!

I'll second the idea Yummymummy. Site is also overrun by pranksters at Christmas time. The bane of modern existence I guess.
Mum to DS10 1/2yrs, II ASD and DS8yrs, HF.ASD,ADD,GDD.

Hi Yummy Mummy,
Thanks for your post. The best way to report spammers is to use the Report button so that we can follow it up with a warning of forum misuse and deregistration of the account if necessary.
I will follow up on the two usernames you have supplied.
We really appreciate your assistance with reducing spam in the forums, so thanks very much.
Cheers,
Raising Children Network

Oops, I forgot to add to my last reply that, while spammers do annoyingly use hyperlinks, they are also an effective way for genuine forum users to broadcast relevant and useful information to other parents and carers.

| I agree about the hyperlinks comment. Although I'm a new member on this forum I have been using it for a while and been getting great suggestions from users. I think the best way to go about spammers is to report a post whenever we think it's suspicious. I can't see anything else we could do...?
