| Hi everyone, I am a parent here on the north coast and involved in the area of this site for parents of children with ASD and it is a hive of activity. Are we aprehensive or just too busy or not interested. Here is my issue for today. Lack of paediatrician options. We can't get to see one until may 2010. This is not good enough. We need more here on the north coast. I am not entirely happy with the choices I have to see a Paed. I would like to see a female paed here. Thanks, Zeeta.

Hi Zeeta,
with regards to a female paediatrician in this area I'm not sure if Jackie Andrews is still in Lismore. The NRAHS would probably know how to contact her if she is.

| Thanks, I think she is with community health, correct me if I am wrong and I guess she would have limited numbers of clients she could see. I have heard a few things (good) about her. It would be great to see a female here in the private sector. Zeeta NSW

| I have Hannah with Chris Ingall. He is lovely to her, and is a nice person. I chose him, as my other daughter had to see him for her type 1, so i could see what he was like before i put Hannah with him. He has helped us by doing the documents for her to gain the disability pension as well.

I finally got our two children in to see Dr David Meldrum. He is amazing. He sat and listened and is treating us with respect and supporting our family beyond expectations. I can not speak highly enough of Dr Meldrum.

Yes :-) much to my relief Dr Jackie Andrews is still doing Paediatrics around Lismore,
As specialist usually GP referrals are needed, many find easier to be sent direct from your GP to Fax:
