| Hello All, I am new to this site and thought I'd better say hi since I thinkdown the track it'll prove very helpful! After being told for over 10 years that I would never have children due to previous medical issues I was going to the doctors for weeks before I did a pregnancy test at home and took it to them! Even then I had an implanon device inserted so to say that this pregnancy is unexpected is an UNDER STATEMENT! Although it is welcome don't get me wrong. Whilst still in shock I had my first appointment with the obgen - Thank God my partner was there and we found out we are having twins. I was already 11 and half weeks when we found out I was pregnant! So am cruising along now and petrified quite honestly. My danger period due to having no cervix is a minimum of 18 weeks so we have kept this very quite as I don't want all my friends and family to know should something go wrong. even my obgen warns me when leaving his room's "we are not out of the woods yet" However now at 15 and half weeks its getting harder to keep quiet with my ever growing stomach and I am quite thin (NOW!) and I want to tell the world. So with no-one really knowing I'm pregnant I have questions that I don't really know who to ask. Like I have been horrificly sick with ALL DAY sickness, breast tenderness is extreme and hormone head aches unbearable however in the past 4 days all of those have just suddenly stopped. Instantly. I called my obgen who called me in immediately and checked and both are fine but its just unusual according to him. Did anyone else experience this? I am still tired and my stomach has only really in the past week actually started to show which I thought was late for twins but then as a first timer to this I have no idea. What is general showing period? According to some literature I've managed to get it says that twins have an earlier gestation period of 37 weeks. Is that true? Anyway any advice would be appreciated. Thank you and I'm sure I'll have a million more questions soon! Thanks

| Twins! Wow how exciting. I know it can be scary being pregnant- even with one it is scary. But the nerves will calm down the further along you get, I was scared to sneeze to start with lol. I have no idea how you must feel with all the medical problems, my medical problems started after my son was born so it was less stressful I guess. As for the growing stomach, this can be different for everyone, I did not really ever show but then again I was a lot bigger then, my cousing who was tiny did not show much until she was in her 6th month- no idea where that baby was stashed lol. Just let your doctor do the worrying- they know when its appropriate, you just look after yourself, use it as an excuse to be pampered
