Thank goodness we aren't all completely blind plastic wasters.

Even good old trusty Milton is fine for everything else, or bleach if you must.

If you drive a truck & poo in your pool then perhaps throwing out the toys as often as changing your mother in law's pull ups might be a good idea.

Fortunately for us (& probably others) there is a massive supply of bath toys regularly doing the rounds of every op shop so for those who are capable of changing a nappy & brushing their own teeth I can highly recommend giving some a polish & a wash (as above) after drying them out in the sun for a day or two. It's a veritable jungle of great old unloved plastic bath toys out there just waiting to be hunted down & brought back to your own cave for the kids.
