ok i had a lot of trouble with this and thought i had it but it turned out very small and i couldnt resize it.

so please tell me exactly how to do it, and

is this forum HTML, PseudoHTML, UBBCode, BBCode or EZCode? because there are different codes for all these types!!!

Can't reply to posts: 'don't have permission'

Some forum members have contacted us to say that they can't reply to forum posts; they get a message to say they 'don't have permission' to reply/post. This is because their forum account hasn't been activated as yet.

Shortly after you register for the Raising Children forums, you should receive an email with a link to activate your registration. Simply click this link and you'll be able to add/reply to posts.

If you didn't receive this email, please check your junk email folder as it may have ended up there.

The email should come through within minutes of registering, but if it hasn't arrived within an hour or so you can request another validation email by clicking this link.

If all else fails, please contact us, select the 'Technical support' option and quote your username, and we'll get the problem sorted.

NEW How to add a ticker

As some forums users have already noted, the previous method of adding tickers to your signature is no longer working.

Here is an update on how to now add a ticker to your signature.

1) After you create your ticker, you should be presented with various different code. Choose the code titled HTML. Copy this code.
2) Log into the forum and click Control Panel in the top right corner.
3) In the left hand panels, under the title Your Profile, click on Edit Signature.
4) In the Edit Your Signature box, paste the code for your ticker, then click Update.

You should now see your ticker appearing in the Signature Preview box above the Edit Your Signature box.

I am having a ticker problem. Sorry to be so repetitive. I have the code starting with [url...., and I click on the little mountain but there are two options. One is upload image and the other is Link. Which do I want to use. The upload image doesn't work, says not a valid file type and the Link says there is a script error.

Any ideas?

The ticker problems you may have been experiencing were due to our server being out of disk space. All tickers should be displaying fine now but let me know if you are having any further problems.
