Alcoholics Anonymous
This organisation provides services for young people and can help young people work out whether they have a problem with drinking.

Australian Drug Foundation
This organisation develops and distributes free and quality-assured information on alcohol, other drugs and harm prevention through a range of programs, websites and services.  

Counselling Online
This is a free online text-based counselling service for people using alcohol and other drugs, and also their family and friends. Counselling is available 24 hours, 7 days. You can also get information, support and referrals for more help.

Quitnow
This website has information about the effects of smoking and tips to help you stop. You can also call Quitline on 137 848. 

Reach Out – Alcohol and other drugs
This webpage offers resources and fact sheets on the effects of different drugs, advice on how to minimise the risk of taking them, and suggestions on how to cope with a drug problem.

Streetlink

Tasmanian Alcohol and Drug Services
This service is part of the Tasmania Department of Health and Human Services. It provides information, treatments and support for people affected by alcohol and other drug use. Youth workers are available to provide specialist support for young people. Phone 1300 139 641.

The Link Youth Health Service
This is a youth health service in Hobart. It offers a range of health services for young people including alcohol and other drug programs. 

Youth Alcohol and Drug Service 
This service provides alcohol and drug education, treatments and interventions to young people and their families in western and north-western Tasmania. Phone (03) 6423 6635.

Victoria

DirectLine 
DirectLine is the Victorian alcohol and other drug hotline. It offers counselling for alcohol and other drug use, information and referrals to other types of support. It’s free, confidential and available 24 hours, 7 days. Phone 1800 888 236.

Youth Support and Advocacy Service 
This is a statewide community service that provides a range of services for young people aged 12-21 years who are experiencing problems related to alcohol and other drugs.

Western Australia

Alcohol and Drug Support Line
This is a free counselling, information and referral service provided by the Government of Western Australia. If you need help with your own or another person’s use of alcohol or other drugs, phone (08) 9442 5000 (Perth) or 1800 198 024 (outside Perth). 

Drug Aware
This program targets young people with messages about drug use that focus on preventing use and associated harm. The website gives you information on getting help and other topics. 

Holyoake WA
