Felicity McArdle is an Associate Professor at QUT, School of Early Childhood. She has published nationally and internationally, and has been involved in a number of research projects that inquire into the arts. Lately, her work involved children recently arrived in Australia as refugees from Africa, as well as a study that compares approaches to arts education with young children in Australia and Hong Kong. She was a member of the national consortium that collaborated on the writing of the National Early Years Framework.
Felicity has over 15 years experience teaching in preschool and primary settings. She now teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students, and her interests are in the arts, arts education, and teachers’ work and identities.
