Families – Building relationships is a video demonstrating three parenting skills that can help you build better relationships with your children.
The three parenting skills explained on the video are:

attending:‘tuning in’ to your child by making eye contact and using open body language

active listening: when you listen to your child and repeat back, in your own words, what you think your child has said

descriptive praise: telling your child exactly what pleased you about your child’s behaviour.
