In this short video, parents with hearing impairment share their experiences. They talk about some of the things they miss out on, such as socialising with other parents, or chatting with their child’s teacher. But they also say that being a parent has taught them to be patient, and that their confidence has grown over time. As one mum says, if you need help, ‘Just ask. People are happy to help. Don’t feel you can’t because you’re deaf. Be confident, get involved.’
