In this video, Kerryn, who has Asperger’s disorder, talks about the value of work for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). She says volunteering for a few hours at a time can be a good start, and a disability employment agency might be able to help. Parents of teenagers with ASD say that having part-time jobs helped their children learn life skills and get involved in the community.
